Yogas
Hatha Yoga is a preparatory process for Yoga. The word "ha" means sun, "ta" means moon. "Hatha" means Yoga to bring the balance between the sun and the moon within you, therefore between the yin and yang, the feminine and the masculine within you. You can explore Hatha Yoga in a way that goes beyond certain limitations, but fundamentally, it's about physical preparation – preparing the body for a higher possibility. To lead you to the experience of yoga – of union and limitlessness – we interact with energy and move the system in a certain way. Physical postures are one aspect of this. Understanding the mechanics of the body, creating a certain atmosphere, and then using the body or body postures to direct your energy in specific directions, this is what Hatha Yoga or asanas, postures, aim for. Hatha Yoga is not an exercise. Yoga is a technology of transformation... The yogic system is not a philosophy, an ideology, a religion or even a teaching. It is simply the instruction manual of the human mechanism to function at its highest possible potential and level, physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically.
Ashtanga is a dynamic and athletic form of hatha yoga characterized by a fixed sequence of postures, fluid transitional movements (vinyasa) and a focus on the breath, aimed at promoting physical strength, mental clarity and inner peace.
Yin yoga is a passive and restorative practice, the goal of which is to release deep and deep tensions. Each position is held for several minutes and the concentration is focused on a calm and deep breath.
Vipassana meditation, which means seeing things as they really are, is one of India's oldest meditation techniques. It was rediscovered by Gotama the Buddha more than 2500 years ago and was taught by him as a universal remedy for universal ailments; it is a way of life. This non-sectarian technique has as its objective the total eradication of mental impurities and the supreme happiness of the total liberation that results from it. Vipassana is a method of self-transformation through self-observation. It focuses on the deep interconnection between mind and body, which can be experienced directly by paying disciplined attention to the physical sensations that make up the life of the body, and that are in constant interaction and condition the life of the mind. It is this journey of self-exploration, based on observation, to reach the common root of mind and body, that dissolves mental impurities and results in a balanced mind full of love and compassion. The scientific laws that guide our thoughts, feelings, judgments, and sensations become clear. Through direct experience, we understand the nature by which we progress or regress, how we produce suffering, or how we free ourselves from it. Life is then characterized by increased awareness, the absence of illusions, self-control and peace.
During the 3 years I spent in India, I was taught by a teacher with a PhD in Ayurveda and a PhD in Yoga and Pranayama from the selective yoga university, Gurukul Kangri, based in Haridwar, in the region of Rishikesh, the world capital of Yoga. I have successfully completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training registered with the International Yoga Alliance. In addition, I spent 10 years in Asia deepening my knowledge and taught up to 700 courses in 6 months, up to 120 monthly courses, before becoming a trainer myself. I have been able to share yoga and ayurveda in many places: ashrams, yoga studios, fitness centers, bank headquarters, palace hotels, stock exchange companies (Société Générale La Défense Paris or Coca Cola Dubai), universities, retirement homes, children's schools in India, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, in Mexico, Thailand, Bali and French Polynesia. Thousands of students have benefited from my sharing, including several hundred students whom I have trained to become yoga teachers. I have 6500 hours of Yoga and Ayurveda teaching.

Thai Massage Thai massage has its roots in ancient Thai medicine, which dates back more than 2,500 years. It is a holistic approach combining acupressure, stretching, and rocking movements to improve flexibility, energy, and stress levels. A therapist will typically use their thumbs, palms, and even feet to apply pressure to specific points in your body's energy pathways, similar to acupressure. It will also gently guide you through a series of yoga-like stretches to increase your range of motion. And the rocking motions add a unique element, helping to relax tense muscles and improve circulation. Unlike many other forms of massage, a Thai massage is performed on a mat on the floor, with the client fully clothed.
Benefits of a Thai massage: * Improved flexibility: feeling stiff and sore? A Thai massage can help relax tense muscles and improve your range of motion, leaving you feeling supple and ready to take on the day. * Increased energy levels: Feeling sluggish? The pressure points targeted in a Thai massage can help boost your energy flow, leaving you feeling revitalized. * Stress reduction: The combination of acupressure, stretching, and the overall experience can leave you feeling deeply relaxed and help melt away stress.
If you're looking for pure relaxation, an oil massage could be the perfect solution. This type of massage uses warm, aromatic oils to create a calming atmosphere. The therapist uses gentle, slippery movements to relieve muscle tension and melt away stress. The use of hot oil has two purposes. First, it allows for a smoother glide over your skin, allowing the therapist to reach deeper muscle layers and untie stubborn knots. Next, some massage oils are infused with essential oils, which can offer additional aromatherapy benefits. Lavender oil, for example, is known for its calming properties, while peppermint oil can help invigorate the senses.
Benefits of an Oil Massage: * Deep Muscle Relaxation: The combination of warm oil and targeted pressure allows the therapist to reach the deeper muscle layers, relieving tension and promoting relaxation. * Stress relief: The calming atmosphere, combined with the soothing touch, can significantly reduce stress and promote a sense of peace. * Improved skin health: Some massage oils like coconut or jojoba oil can nourish the skin, leaving it soft and moisturized.
The perfect choice for you So, how do you choose between a Thai or oil massage? It all depends on your individual needs and preferences. Here's a quick guide: Need to relieve stress and improve your flexibility? Opt for a Thai massage. Are you looking for deep muscle relaxation and pure relaxation? Choose an oil massage. Prefer a more challenging experience? A Thai massage might be more suitable. Are you looking for a soft touch with aromatherapy benefits? An oil massage is your answer.
