Samui

Koh Samui is the premier island destination in the Gulf of Thailand. Samui features beautiful beaches, a variety of activities and opportunities for wellness enhancement. Samui is the third largest island in Thailand and second most popular island destination. Samui is located 700 km south of Bangkok and is part of Surat Thani Province. Samui was home to a small community that was engaged primarily in fishing and harvesting coconuts before being discovered by foreign visitors around the late 1800’s.

The lush tropical forest nature, fringed with coconut tree lined stretches of white sand and surrounded with clear blue water, it quickly became a popular destination. The popular beaches are Chaweng and Lamai. These days, Samui offers award-winning world class hotels, resorts, spas and cuisine. Samui has developed into its own style of island paradise, retaining much of its natural beauty and Thai culture, whilst also blending an incredible array of nearly every imaginable activity or service for the ultimate beach retreat destination.
